Muna Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 July 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Lukas Salasevicius (“Muna,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Muna iPhone app and its features. Please read them carefully.

By downloading, accessing, or using Muna, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Muna.

1. App Store terms

Muna is distributed through Apple’s App Store. Your license to use the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) and the applicable Apple Media Services terms. These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA. If the documents conflict about the license to the iOS app, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.

Muna is provided by Lukas Salasevicius, not Apple. Apple processes App Store purchases and may provide services such as purchase restoration according to Apple’s terms.

2. Who may use Muna

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Muna only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You may not use Muna where doing so would violate applicable law.

3. What Muna does

Muna is a personal money-review and reflection tool. It lets you manually create periodic snapshots of information such as cash, investments, debts, other assets, income, spending estimates, and reflections. It may calculate or display changes between snapshots, net worth, category totals, and estimated spending.

Muna is not:

  • a bank, payment service, or bank-connection service;
  • an accounting, tax, credit-repair, or brokerage service;
  • an investment adviser or financial adviser;
  • a source of personalized financial, legal, tax, or investment recommendations; or
  • an emergency or record-keeping system on which you should rely as your only copy.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • deciding what information to enter;
  • checking the accuracy and completeness of your entries, calculations, and exports;
  • keeping your device and device credentials secure;
  • maintaining any backups or exports you need;
  • reviewing an export before sending it to another person or service; and
  • using Muna lawfully and only for your own legitimate purposes.

You must not misuse Muna, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits, use it to violate another person’s rights, or use automated means to extract or exploit the app.

5. Financial information and no-advice notice

Muna provides organizational tools and calculations based on information you enter. Results may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, rounded, or affected by incorrect entries, exchange-rate assumptions, software behavior, or differences in how financial institutions value an item.

Nothing in Muna is financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Muna does not know your full circumstances or act as a fiduciary. You remain responsible for financial decisions and should verify important information independently. Consider obtaining advice from a qualified professional when appropriate.

6. Local data, exports, and privacy

The current version stores financial records locally on your device and does not require a Muna account or bank connection. You control the information you enter and the destinations to which you send exports.

Muna is not responsible for how another app, email service, cloud-storage provider, recipient, or other destination handles an export after you choose to share it. Keep exports secure because they may contain sensitive financial and reflection information.

Our Privacy Policy explains Muna’s analytics, purchases, notifications, support communications, and other information practices.

7. Free features and Muna Pro

Muna may offer free features and paid Muna Pro features. The features included in each option are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary as the product evolves.

Auto-renewable subscriptions

Monthly and yearly Muna Pro plans are auto-renewable subscriptions processed by Apple. The price, billing period, currency, taxes, and any introductory offer shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time you confirm the purchase control.

Unless you cancel through Apple, a subscription renews automatically under Apple’s applicable subscription terms. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless Apple or applicable law provides otherwise. Deleting Muna does not cancel a subscription.

One-time purchase

If offered, a Muna Pro one-time purchase unlocks the Pro features designated for that purchase in the supported app. It is not a subscription. “Lifetime” refers to the supported lifetime of the Muna product, not the lifetime of any individual, and does not guarantee that Muna, every feature, or compatibility with future devices and operating systems will remain available forever. Separately identified future products or services may require a separate purchase.

Billing, refunds, and restoration

Apple handles payment processing, billing, taxes, refunds, and purchase history. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law. You can request a refund from Apple using Apple’s available refund process. Where available, use Restore Purchases to restore an eligible entitlement associated with your Apple Account.

We may change future prices or offers. Any change to an existing auto-renewable subscription will be handled through Apple and subject to applicable notice or consent requirements. We will honor paid access for the period purchased, subject to these Terms and Apple’s rules.

8. App changes and availability

We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features to maintain, secure, or improve Muna, respond to legal or technical requirements, or develop the product. We do not promise that every feature will always be available or that Muna will work with every future device or operating-system version.

We will not remove access you have already paid for during an active paid period except where reasonably necessary for security, law, misuse, circumstances outside our control, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Updates may be required for continued use. You are responsible for installing available operating-system and app updates.

9. Intellectual property

Muna, including its software, design, text, graphics, branding, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Muna on supported Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.

You retain ownership of information you enter. You give us no license to your locally stored financial records because the current app does not transmit those records to us.

If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

10. Third-party services

Muna relies on services provided by Apple and uses TelemetryDeck for limited analytics. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or services, except where applicable law says otherwise.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Muna at any time. You can delete local data within the app and delete the app from your device. Stopping use or deleting the app does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse Muna, create a security or legal risk, or if we discontinue the app. Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, we will provide notice appropriate to the circumstances.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.

12. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muna is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete accuracy, a particular financial result, permanent data preservation, or compatibility with every device or software version.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights concerning digital content or services in your country.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to Muna.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from or related to Muna will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Muna during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 50.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law so provides.

14. Consumer rights and disputes

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at info@easydigital.app so we can try to resolve the issue.

These Terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in any court available to you under mandatory local law. Any other dispute will be governed and heard as required by applicable law.

Apple handles App Store billing and refund requests under Apple’s procedures and applicable law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Muna, our business, law, security, or third-party requirements. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice required by law.

If a change materially reduces your rights during an active paid period, it will apply only to the extent permitted by law. Continuing to use Muna after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, except where the law requires another form of agreement.

16. General terms

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be applied to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent, except where applicable law permits. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganization, sale, or transfer of Muna, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Apple Standard EULA are the agreements governing your use of Muna, subject to mandatory law.
